Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church

Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church is made up of people who have been changed by the grace of God. 

We have seen the greatness and glory of our Savior Jesus Christ and have found Him to be the greatest treasure in all the world. Through the teaching and preaching of God's Word, we strive to know Christ more, and it is our desire for you to see His Glory as well. 

You can join us on Sunday morning at three service times that take place at two different campuses. At 8:30 am and 11:00 you can join us at our Lincoln Campus (1620 Lincoln Ave.), or at 9:45 am at our Kansas Campus (1900 Kansas Ave).

What We Believe

Here at Lincoln, we are unapologetically all about Jesus. We focus our church around Christ-centered lives, Christ-centered relationships, and Christ-centered missions. This is so much more than a slogan - it truly is the heartbeat of our Church. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, behold the new has come.” 

As you visit with our church family, you will hear a version of this same story over and over again. I was lost and Jesus found me, I was lonely and Jesus adopted me into His family, I was a slave to sin and Jesus set me free, I was floundering and Jesus gave me a purpose. What you will consistently find at Lincoln is ordinary people who would freely admit that they are sinners who have been grabbed onto by Jesus and transformed by His love, and because of Jesus, their lives have taken on a very different direction.

Every week you can find our people meeting in places around Woodward and NW Oklahoma - homes, restaurants, coffee shops, local businesses, and our church buildings, to study the Bible grow in relationship with Jesus. This looks like Small Groups on Sunday evenings, DT Groups at various times throughout the week, men's and women's Bible studies, and more. We believe that in bearing one another's burdens and not neglecting to meet together honors the Lord and increases our faith. If you are interested in a church that prioritizes the reading, teaching, and discussion of God's Word with people on a regular basis, then Lincoln is the place for you!

You can find our people serving our community in homeless ministry, foster care, youth ministry, children’s ministry, the pregnancy center, and so much more. And every week we are, by God’s grace, joining Jesus in global work…literally touching the other side of the planet through deep connections with missions partners in India, Nepal, the Middle East, the Czech Republic, Scotland, and even more places. This commitment to pushing back darkness is reflected not only in time and relationships but also in our budget. This past year we were able to steward half a million dollars towards missions and ministries outside of Lincoln Avenue.
